Koolitused
- BD FACS users meeting 3.-4. veebruaril 2009.a.
Käesoleva hooaja FACS'i kasutajate koolitus toimus 3.-4. veebruaril 2009. aastal Stockholmis Aronsborgi konverentsi hotellis. Eestist oli 12 osalejat ja neid saatis Inbio esindajana Imbi. Ettekannetega esinesid sellel kohtumisel Alar Aints Tartu Ülikooli Hematoloogia-Onkoloogia teaduslaborist ja Toomas Silla Tartu Ülikooli Tehnoloogiainstituudist, kes esitlesid omapoolseid huvitavaid FACS'i kasutusmeetodeid.
- 30 septembril 2008 toimus Invitrogeni toodete koolitus klientidele
Hotellis London, Tartus
30. Septembril 2008Lektoriks oli Russell Thompson Ph.D.
Technical Sales Specialist – Cellular AnalysisLäbitud teemad:
Imaging and Cellular Analysis
In Cell and Molecular Biology we are increasingly relying on Imaging – Immunofluorescence, live cell imaging etc to complement our PCR, qPCR, Western Blots. In this seminar I will give a brief overview of the imaging and cellular analysis portfolio from Invitrogen as well as introducing novel and innovative methods for looking at cell proliferation, live/dead cell analysis as well as Calcium signalling and the Organelle and Cellular Lights.Flow Cytometry
Flow Cytometry can play an important role in cellular analysis, as well as for cell isolation. In this seminar I will cover the evolution of flow cytometry analysis including primary antibodies, the power of Quantum Dot Nanotechnology to transform your results as well as novel technologies that will help you get the most from your cells.Magnetic Beads – the Power of Dynal
Magnetic separation is not a new technology but one that has been adapted and developed for a number of applications. In this seminar I will introduce the multi-functional Dynabead and highlight where it can aid and improve the research workflow. From protein purification and immunoprecipitation to cell isolation and expansion the Dynabead can play a part in getting you the best results you can.ELISA and the evolution of Luminex
In analysing our samples we want to get the most information we can. ELISA is a simple way of getting data and also backing up Western Blot results. In this seminar I will describe the many ELISA formats available from Invitrogen, from Direct to BSH, from sensitive to Ultra-sensitive and Rapid kits. The Luminex system takes the technology behind the ELISA to a new level, where multiplexing from small samples help you get more information than before, even when sample size is normally restrictive.Protein Analysis
We spend a lot of time in research getting our samples ready for analysis. Preparation is vital for the success of any experiment but so is the analysis as well. Here I will highlight what Invitrogen has that can help in getting the most from you sample – from improving SDS-PAGE, easing the pain of Western Blotting and harnessing the new Quantum Dot technology to reduce lost time in research to maximise your results.
